The Vermilion is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s award-winning student newspaper since 1904 and houses university news, student opinion pieces, Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun sports and more. Operated entirely by and for students, the Vermilion releases new issues every Wednesday and website content every day. The ideas shared via opinionated editorials and student columns do not necessarily reflect the ideas and opinions of the Vermilion.
