Caroline’s Cookies is owned by Caroline Merryman. She offers her four staples everyday and has a rotating schedule for flavors every month. They offer everything cookie related, including cookie cakes. There are currently two locations: Lafayette and Baton Rouge.
I have been getting Caroline’s cookies since she was selling on Instagram. I remember picking up the cookies from her house. When I first tried her cookies, my favorite was the circus cookie. I love circus animal cookies in general.

Proceeding, she started to have pop ups at different stores in town and selling at the farmer’s market at Moncus Park. I would show up early to get her cookies to avoid the long crowds. Then, she opened up her storefront near River Ranch and has been thriving ever since.
I visited the Lafayette location and tried seven cookies: Cookies & Cream, Circus, Vanilla Sprinkle, Chocolate Chip, Toffee Cake, Carrot Cake, Oatmeal Cadbury and Lemon Meringue. Cookies & Cream tasted like an Oreo cookie. Funfetti Cake Batter had a vanilla flavor. Oatmeal Cadbury had an oatmeal texture. The Toffee Cake cookie reminded me of a turtle flavor. The Chocolate Chip cookie is a classic with the chocolate and salt flakes shining through.
The Chocolate Chip cookie was topped with a chocolate bunny which was adorable. I’m not a fan of carrot flavored anything, but my coworker enjoyed the carrot cake cookie. However, I enjoyed the cream cheese frosting and pecan toppings. The Lemon Meringue cookie had a fluffy lemon center. The meringue reminded me of marshmallows and had the same texture. It was a burst of lemon flavor once you got to the middle. The Circus cookie was still as good as before.

My personal favorites out of everything I tried was the Toffee Cake, Circus and Lemon Meringue cookie. My all time favorite cookies consist of Chantilly, Blueberry Lemon and Biscoff. Those are the best flavors she offers that I have tried.
